M1A Kids: March 2015
Muskogee First Assembly of God built an absolutely incredible children's wing with GH2 Architects, carousel included! To finish the building they requested a logo be created for print/digital use in the children’s area and as signage to attach to the purple pillar denoting the entrance and lighted on the corner of the building for passersby.
Logo–the new area is space themed and the church has a lot of purple with it but as themes can change over time they didn’t want anything overtly “space” in the logo. Since it was space themed they did request the logo tie in with that color palette and were excited about the nod to space with the star-like K for Kids. A separate simplified version of the logo was created for the lighted signage on the building.
Check-in—also known as mission control. The counter for parents to securely check their children in for class is accented by the bank of televisions used for displaying the logo, pictures of the families at events, announcements and more.
T-Shirts—available in turquoise, deep purple and neon yellow with sizes from child to adult. Volunteers wear a single color shirt denoting their status as help in the children’s area.
Carousel—in the front entrance a full size, functioning carousel was donated in memory of one of the former volunteers at M1A.
