TAP Culture Club: 2012–2015

The Alchemedia Project (TAP) is a very unique and fun foodservice advertising agency with talented and very hardworking people. To highlight the fun people and crazy work days Culture Club was created to keep TAP in beer, holiday events, food, and random mid-day disturbances.

Baby cards—with many coworkers come the inevitable baby showers. After donations for diapers, bibs, and butt paste. Well wishes cards were created to share TAP's love.

Beerster Egg Hunt—Ad people love beer, it's true, and everyone loves sweets. To celebrate the 21+ child in each of us, the annual Beerster Egg hunt was born. The premise is simple, hide beer and eggs together around the office for everyone to hunt. Beers go in the fridge to chill and at the end of the day there’s a party where the hunter with the most eggs is revealed. Eggs can be stolen, alliances are formed, counterfeit eggs were smuggled in but more than anything, our weirdly competitive team looks forward to the bunny appearances that signify another year of candy and beer.

Valentine’s Day—The announcement look may change every year but candy and cheesy perforated cards from all your coworkers always appear in a valentine box outside your office door the last workday closest to February 14.

Birthdays–Some years it's walking in to a donut and card on your desk; others it's a customized party with all your favorite things. Either way, we always find a way to make sure everyone’s entry to this spinning green ball was noted and cheers’ed.

TAPsgiving—With much to be grateful for we always gather the Wednesday before Thanksgiving to share a meal. A chili cook-off, to be exact. Entries with ever more creative names, even tastier chili, and a very happy winner of the golden ladle.

Boss’ Day—Unique cards and hand Sharpie-d/stove fired mugs celebrate the people who let us drink in the office, work hard right along side us, and tell us to go home instead of stay late.

TAP CampThe annual company daytime get-away. Announcements and activities change each year but the fun, competition, relaxation, and celebration never does.

P-Whip Party—There’s always a random thing to disrupt the day. Pi Day, Puppy Day, and Pineapple Whip in bulk. This cold treat is a local favorite so sometimes you just buy a bunch and spend the end of the day eating, making jokes, and pondering how Sharknado came to existence.

Holiday TAPpy Hour—It’s amazing how many words you can fit TAP into. Christmas party TAP style started with a tiny bottle invite on each person’s desk and culminated in tacky/funny white elephant gifts, catering, and selfie booth with props that even included client/product pun speech bubbles.
